I love K-Dramas So Much that I Created a Spotify Playlist

That’s right. I love K-Dramas. Here is a Spotify list of my favorite songs from my favorite K-Dramas. The list will continue to grow as I watch more and more . So far, songs from Crash Landing on You, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Itaewon Class and Healer are on my humble list. You’re welcome.

Are there iconic K-drama songs I’m missing? If so, let me know and I will add it to my playlist. Is there a K-drama that I absolutely must see if for no other reason than the music? Tell me too!

I Was Just Nodded For my 50th Award! "Spooning Leads to Forking" is a Finalist in the Golden Leaf!

Huge thanks to New Jersey Romance Writers for honoring Spooning Leads to Forking as a finalist in the 2020 Golden Leaf Contest in the Romantic Suspense category. This honor is particularly sweet because it's my 50th award and my first award for Spooning Leads to Forking. All of my books are a little autobiographical. In Spooning Leads to Forking, heroine Shea is a food critic (I used to be a food, wine and travel writer myself.) It was a great time in my life and I loved reliving it through writing the book.

I'm Proud to Participate in #AuthorsAdopt2020 in Support of Frontline Health Care Workers Battling COVID-19

Usually, on Mother's Day, I post gratitude for the mothers in my life. Today, I'll post a different gratitude, for all the mothers who are working on the front lines of the COVID crisis, taking care of all the mothers who are sick and who can't be visited by and comforted by their own loved ones—the mothers who are taking care of so many people and not seeing or being able to hug their own mothers and their own kids.

I Decided to Do a Dog Reveal for my New Release, "Adam Bomb". (It Sounded a Lot More Fun than a Cover Reveal.)

No offense to cover reveal parties, but I just don’t have the patience. When I have a cover designed, I fall in love with said cover, want everyone to see it immediately…you get the picture. But that doesn’t mean I don’t like a good party. And that doesn’t mean I don’t want people to get excited about my books. Enter my new idea for a book celebration party: A DOG REVEAL!!!

TMI Thursday: I Really Love Movies. Here are My Favorites of 2019...

Something not everyone knows about me is that I go to the movies at least once a week. I go by myself, and because I have a taste for cinematic quality, I don’t go with Mr. Blades. Don’t get me wrong—I love Mr. Blades (so much that I married him!) but his favorite movie is White Chicks, which should pretty much tell you everything you need to know. As we get close to the end of the year, I find myself reflecting upon the best films I’ve seen in 2019.

TMI Thursday: I Literally Don’t Know Whether You Are Famous (a.k.a. My Weekend at the NINC Conference)

Before any of us ever knew Hugh Bonneville as Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham on Downton Abbey, he’d played in one of the most brilliantly-acted scenes in Rom Com history eleven years prior. In said scene, he arrives to a dinner party and chats up a colossally famous woman for several minutes, utterly unaware that she is one of the most famous actresses in the world. This, my friends, is me. For reasons unexplained (because I’m a visual person), I have zero recall for faces
