Book Riot Just Called "Snapdragon" One of The Best Books You've Never Heard Of!

Squee! I went to Twitter to post something this morning only to find that Book Riot listed my novel, Snapdragon, as one of its best books you've never heard of! I will admit, I wish that a LOT more people had heard of this book. Thanks to this article, and to Carole, the reader who thought to give it a nod, a few more people have. Yea for good newsy things!!

"Snapdragon" is right here, BTW. Because, shameless self-promotion: http://bit.ly/kb-snapdragon

Beyond the greatness of the news is the double reward of the aforementioned reader, Carole, who wrote it up. She posted the kindest review about Snapdragon on BookBub months back. Her review made my day, which is why I never forgot her handle. Imagine my shock and surprise to see that she was the same reader who wrote the Book Riot review!

But to get serious for just a minute…this is a really wonderful moment. An experience that authors have a LOT (like, a LOT) is a fear that our best books just aren’t being read. Snapdragon got a lot of good critical acclaim but it’s a story that I (and readers) really love. It means everything that it’s not falling to the wayside just because it’s one of my earlier titles. I want, like, everyone to read this book.
